The chosen logo represents a playful yet sophisticated take on the brand’s name, Dachi. The brand draws inspiration from the Japanese term 'Tomodachi (友達),' meaning 'friend,' and the smiley face is used to represent that aspect in the brandmark. The typeface creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere that is further expressed in by the difference in hierarchy between the separate letters.
